  4. On a slightly different VT Expo topic, everybody at NewTek was careful
  5. to say that LW 4.0 would be released "in the first quarter," but among
  6. the non-programmers there was a detectable if mostly unspoken optimism
  7. that January was more likely than March.  It's been my own experience
  8. that multi-platform can be a sonovabitch to get right, so even though
  9. a January pheromone was in the air (and also seems to be clinging to a
  10. lot of the posts here), people shouldn't be heartbroken if January
  11. doesn't happen.

  14. Just so you know, the '1st quarter' thing is a new policy..based on the
  15. theory that from now on NewTek will under-promise and over-deliver as far
  16. as ship dates go. So the OFFICIAL date is 1st Qtr, anything else
  17. (including from AH or SF) is rumor....
